其实我一直觉得，万圣节那种老大个儿的南瓜刻完了特别浪费，这东西又不好吃，连松鼠都不爱吃，最后只能丢掉。不过自打有了娃，每年刻着玩儿，就图个娃儿们高兴。今年小子很是积极，早就嚷嚷着要刻，我怕南瓜早早地烂掉，一直到万圣节前的一个周末才让他刻。当然，他的动作就是帮姥爷找了把小刀， 然后袖着手看姥爷刻的。
要说老爷子真厉害，就一把普通的小刀，刻了俩大南瓜，4个图案，两个是来福妞，另外两个是愤怒的小鸟。整个小区的南瓜灯都没有这么酷的，小子得意坏了，特写典型理工小男的journal一首：

Halloween is coming and I can’t wait to carve a pumpkin.
Grandpa is such a good artist that he did all the work.
I helped Grandpa get all the right tools to carve the pumpkin.
I wish I could carve one but the pumpkin is too hard for me.
Grandpa carved a German Shepherd and a Angry bird.
The German Shepherd looked just like my dog Lucky.
It was really cool when Mom put the light in.
